What are the Queensland Academies?
Three selective state high schools offering International Baccalaureate Middle Years and Diploma programs: QASMT at UQ, QACI at QUT, and QAHS at Griffith University Gold Coast.
What year do I apply?
Year 7 entry at QASMT is open to Year 5 students (testing in September). Year 10 entry at all three campuses is open to Year 8 and Year 9 students (testing February to June depending on campus).
Do I need a portfolio?
Some Academy streams require additional materials such as a portfolio, audition, or interview alongside the EduTest. Each campus publishes its own requirements.
