Answer: Game 2 had 6 symbols × 5 = 30 pies. Game 3 had 3 symbols × 5 = 15 pies. The difference is 30 − 15 = 15 pies. Option A is wrong because the student subtracted the number of symbols (6 − 3 = 3) without multiplying by 5. Option B is wrong because the student multiplied the symbol difference (3) by 5 but only partially applied the scale. Option D is wrong because the student added the totals instead of finding the difference.
Question 3 — Hard
The table below shows the number of stickers collected by five students: Tahlia | 9 Kai | 15 Eden | 6 Noah | 11 Ava | 3 Which student collected the most stickers?
Answer: Kai collected 15 stickers, which is the highest value in the table. Tahlia (9), Noah (11), and Eden (6) all collected fewer stickers than Kai.
