๐Ÿ“–Reading Passageโ€” The Penguins Come Home
Every evening, just as the sun dips below the waves, something special happens on a little Australian beach. Tiny fairy penguins waddle out of the sea and hurry across the sand. They are the smallest penguins in the whole world, and they have soft blue feathers on their backs. All day, the penguins swim far out in the ocean, hunting for small silver fish. Their wings work like flippers, helping them zoom through the water. By the time the sky turns orange, they are tired and hungry to get home. The penguins live in cosy burrows dug into the sandy dunes. When they reach the shore, they call out with funny squawks and brays. Soon, fluffy chicks pop their heads out, waiting to be fed. People come to watch the penguins march up the beach in a wobbly line. Everyone stays quiet and switches off bright torches, because the little penguins do not like sudden flashes. As the stars appear, the colony settles down to sleep, safe and snug until another morning.

What colour are the feathers on the backs of the fairy penguins?
